Yes - we encourage it! Loopr lets you log your ride experience multiple times and choose unique ratings each time. Want to see whether your nausea ranking or seat comfort changes based on which row you've sat in? Log each experience and make sure to rank those attributes. Later you can use Ride Lab to analyze your experience.
Loopr's database is continuously updated and we currently store 6000+ roller coasters with speed, height, length, and park information, and 3000 additional rides and park performances. While not every single ride in the world can be found in our database, you'll be able to find most. You can also manually add any rides in the Logger in case they don't yet exist in Loopr.
Not unless you want them to! Every ride log can be marked as Private by default or Public. Public reviews require at least 5 words in the review text. Additional data - like nausea ranking, seat position, etc - will be shared with the Loopr community as well.
Nope! All fields (except for overall rating and ride name) are optional for a logged ride.
Our moderation team approves public reviews as they are received in order to create a safe and informative environment for the community. This may take a couple days based on volume of submissions. Hang tight and check back a in a couple days!
In the Trip Reporter, search for a park and select it from the results. Tap the Check In button to begin data collection. Once data collection begins, your personal map will begin to build and you can view it by tapping the mileage circle. This needs a little bit of movement before the map preview will generate, so walk around a little bit and check back!
Ride wait times are supported by most major parks and are updated every 5 minutes. If the wait time is incorrect, they may be in the process of updating.
Yes! When you select a park in the Trip Reporter, the Rides & Wait Times section will automatically pull the current wait times for rides. Tap the alarm icon next to each ride to set a wait time alert. While the app is active in the background, it will check for updates and send a push notification when the wait time goes below your desired time.
Once you've completed the Trip Report template in the Trip Reporter (and added an optional park map), your completed Trip Report will be found in your Ride Locker.
Navigate to your Ride Locker tab and scroll down to the Log Entries section. Here each ride displays as a card. Tap the + icon to expand for more options. At the top is a wrench icon, which when tapped will allow you to change any field, and a trash can icon which will allow you to delete the entry.
For the Trip Reports section, tap the Actions button to access the delete button. At this time, trip report data cannot be edited.
All ride and trip report cards have a sorting and filtering button next to their section label. Use these fields to rearrange or hide from view certain rides based on characteristics like Speed, Nausea Ranking, Queue Enjoyability, Overall Rating and many more!
